Thankful

I have this friend in Texas named Tamara, she is such an inspiration to me. she is ALWAYS happy no matter what, she is always thiking of others and always serving others. I was thinking a while back that she is one of my heros and how much I want to be just like her. she is happy in every situation and she has a zest for life! I made it a goal about a month ago to be happy no matter what my situation, and be like Tamara. Things were going well and then BOOM I started feeling sorry for myself. Well I am not going to let fear and doubt get in the way of my goal! I was thinking about what I can do to make sure I am always happy and a thought came to my mind, everyday I need to list at least 5 things I am grateful for. I decided I can use my blog to do that.

I am grateful for a job that I love
I am grateful for my own apartment
I am grateful for my car
I am grateful that i have money to pay my bills
I am grateful for the nice weather

I am already feeling better, this really does work. Thank you Tamara for being you. I love you and thank you for being part of my life. I am going to work hard everyday to be as Christ like as you!
